So facebook reminded me that today marks my 1 year anniversary of moving to adelaide. wow, time has really flown, but more importantly, i've come to witness the delivery of God's promises during the course of my first year here.
moving to adelaide was tough. i left behind my parents, friends, church. i didn't know anyone here. despite having my sisters with me, they were both busy with their own lives, that they've built in there > 3 years living here. i was alone, and lonely.
at around that time of the year, desiringgod posted an article which three different people shared with me. it was titled 'The Friends You Need Are Worth The Wait', and indeed, they are. I've met so many people this year, through church, OCF and uni, and some of them have become part of my support system here in good old adelaide. what a thing to be grateful for and joyful about! once again, God never fails, and once again, i am caught in His embrace.
i honestly couldn't be happier :')
