I spent the last three days getting to know complete strangers who were my potential friends, and are now my friends. BaOC was a new camping experience for me because I've never been to a camp where I know no one in my group, and the idea of it had initially terrified me, but now, as I look back, it wasn't that bad after all.
This camp has definitely helped to kick start my life in poly, and has put me in the right attitude and frame of mind. I can't help but sense a sense of community when I'm with the Prestigious Pirates, and community is one of the most important things in a new and foreign environment.
I look forward to the next three years in NP, and I hope my excitement for school lasts (forever).
